A devoted canine owner hailing from Peru, John Alexander Palomino Bendives, displayed his affection and bravery by saving his pet from a potential fall off a balcony. Bendives had just come back from an extended business trip and was excited to see his mother and four furry companions residing in a rooftop apartment on the fourth story. However, as he approached the building with his partner, one of his dogs, Mina, became overly thrilled and leaped over the edge.

Bendives reacted instantly and caught Mina in mid-air, preventing her from hitting the ground. “She was fine, not a scratch,” Bendives said to The Dodo. “Mina was happy and grateful, as you can see in the video. She didn’t stop wagging her tail out of happiness.”
The frightening incident made the family realize the need for more safety measures and they decided to install a mesh barrier on the roof to avoid similar accidents in the future. Bendives and his family adore their pets and want to keep them safe.
“I love my pets very much,” Bendives said. “They always receive me with a lot of love and emotion. The time I spend at home, I try to spend as much time as possible with them.”
